Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms,” “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the Eddy Cleanestic Services website (the “Service”) operated by Eddy Cleanestic Services (“us,” “we,” or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Services

Eddy Cleanestic Services provides interior cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The scope of services will be agreed upon between Eddy Cleanestic Services and the client before the commencement of any work. All services are delivered with professional care, skill, and diligence.

Bookings and Confirmation

All service requests can be made via telephone, email, or through our website. A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or verbal agreement from our team. By booking our services, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Pricing and Payment

  • Quotes: All quotes are based on the information provided by the client. We reserve the right to alter a quote if the property’s condition is not as described.
  • Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of electronic payment as specified.
  • Late Fees: Overdue invoices may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
  • Recurring Services: For recurring services, invoices will be issued on a pre-agreed schedule (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly). If a recurring service is cancelled after the first cleaning, the one-time cleaning rate will apply.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed booking.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost may be charged.

  • No-Show/Lock-Out: If our cleaning team arrives at the scheduled time and is unable to gain access to the property, the full cost of the service will be charged.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the safety of our staff and the efficiency of our service, the client agrees to:

  • Access: Provide our team with safe and unobstructed access to all areas of the property that require cleaning.
  • Utilities: Ensure that the property has adequate electricity and hot water for the duration of the service.
  • Safety: Inform us of any potential hazards, including slippery surfaces, aggressive pets, or fragile items. Pets should be secured in a safe location during the cleaning.
  • Valuables: Secure or remove any valuable, fragile, or sentimental items. We will not be liable for damage to items that are not properly secured or for items of extreme value that should be handled by the owner.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to providing the highest quality of service. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of the service completion.

  • We will arrange to return to the property to re-clean the specific areas of concern at no additional cost.
  • This guarantee does not apply if the condition of the property or interference from the client or third parties prevents us from performing our work to the best of our ability.

Liability and Insurance

  • Damage to Property: While we exercise the utmost care, accidents can happen. We are fully insured for any damage caused by the negligence of our staff. Any claim for damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of the service.
  • Exclusions: We will not be liable for:
    • Pre-existing damage, wear, and tear.
    • Damage resulting from improper installation of any item.
    • Damage to items that were not properly secured.
    • Loss of cash, jewelry, art, antiques, or items of sentimental value.

Confidentiality and Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information we collect will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. We agree to keep all client details confidential and secure.

Non-Solicitation of Staff

You agree not to directly or indirectly hire or solicit any of our staff members to provide cleaning services for a period of 12 months following the termination of your services with us.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the service agreement with a written notice of at least 30 days. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if our staff feels unsafe, threatened, or if the client breaches these terms and conditions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
